This piece of equipment is owned and operated by Soni Honegger - General Manager of the C&TSRR. Last year Soni leased a similar piece of equipment to clear the line of snow and ice. He adapted some small railroad wheels to keep it on the tracks and pulled it with one and sometimes two Snow Cats. I believe this one is larger and more powerful and my guess is if he gets the bid to clear the track again he will set it up to run on the track. The other night I heard something in the yard and managed a couple of snapshots of SnowZilla at work clearing the yard.
